Marcela MoraPh.D. Candidate Fall 2007 – present Marcela is working on the phylogenetics ofParadrymonia, a large genus native to her home country of Colombia. She has MSc degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and worked on various systematics projects on Araceae before joining the University of Alabama in 2007. Cassandra ColemanMSc Student Fall 2010 to present Cassandra is a MSc student who recently graduated from the University of Alabama’s Department of Biological Sciences. Cassandra worked on various projects as an undergraduate student on gesneriads from Cuba and Ecuador.   ![]() | Zac LovoyUndergraduate Student Computer-Based Honors Program Zac developed an image library of specimen photographs from research expeditions. Many of these images are the only known photographs for rare flora from remote tropical rainforests. The library is accessible on our website. An additional goal of Zac’s project is to create a portable digital library that can be transferred to an iPod/iPad. Ross A. PritchardRoss Pritchard was from Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama’s Department of Biological Sciences in 2009. He participated on an expedition to Ecuador as an undergraduate student in 2008 and had collaborated on nearly every project in the Clark lab until he lost a courageous battle with cancer in 2011.
